Busy time

Its the end of the semester and everything seems to converge at this time. But I am making a little time to help create a new student organization, which we do not have a name for yet. But its going to center on Free and Open Source Software, which Linux is a good poster child for. So, hopefully you will hear more about this in the near future.

Roundup...

Well, I have been playing the beta for Lord of the Rings: Online and I have been liking it. Obviously, its still in beta so it has some small things that could be improved but overall, its quite nice. We'll see how it goes ;)

They finally figured out who the father of Anna Nicole's daughter is....maybe this story will die finally.

Don Imus said some...not so good things on his radio show. Now the community...well, Reverend Al Sharpton and Woopie Goldberg, are saying he is getting off easy and should be fired. Which is quite funny coming from Sharpton, considering he had an illicit affair and a child with someone other than his wife. Maybe, before people take his side he should apologize for that. Additionally he is a Reverend and the last I heard, Reverends were very forgiving. More so than the public. Imus has been on radio for many years, then he messes up once and all hell breaks loose. Give the guy a second chance. First Michael Richards now Don Imus, don't ruin more careers just because of a simple dumb statement.

There's nothing more serious....

There's nothing more serious than a Rhino charging your @$$!!!

Well, the best show on television has returned with a new series of Doctor Who. The first episode of the series introduces a new race called the Judoon. They are a police like race (Think peacekeepers sorta) who come to earth to apprehend a non-human criminal.

This series introduces a new companion for The Doctor, Martha Jones, portrayed by Freema Agyeman (whom is extremely hot, might I say). Martha is going to be a very good companion for The Doctor since she is smart and witty. As usual with Doctor Who, the cinematography is great and the story is told very well. Certain things that you think are weird or maybe irrelevant in the episode is explained towards the end and it makes you think, 'Why didn't I recognize that' or 'why didn't I figure that out'.
